Full time staff sonographer working in a hospital environment. Cross trained and performed dedicated vascular studies (arterial dopplers, ABI's, thoracic outlet exams, fistulas, carotid and venous duplex). Assisted various radiologists, neurosurgeons, physician assistants, vascular surgeons with live ultrasound guidance in numerous intraoperative procedural exams with a focus on vascular procedures and D&C. Dedicated time in the NICU to learn and perform infant hip studies, neonatal heads, pediatric abdomen, appendix. Obtained high quality imaging of GYN, abdomen and small parts pathology. Performed more obscure exams such as orbital, musculoskeletal and contrast enhanced ultrasound. Worked in many critical patient situations and delivered high quality CPR when necessary. Covered a wide variety of patient needs and demographics, with a focus on geriatric as well palleative care.
