Hello, I'm Abdalla, and I'm a Junior in IT at GMU with a concentration in AI-driven solutions. Over the past 2 years, I've accumulated a practical amount of knowledge from IT classes, areas such as Python, MySQL, and JS (currently taking the course). However, I've also been dedicating personal time to self-study AI/ML and deep learning, as a head start into my concentration, which I'm truly excited about.
I'm willing to do whatever it takes to achieve expertise in the software engineering field, and for that reason such an opportunity like interning in software development would not only give me a glimpse into how real work is but also allow me to contribute my skills in Python, AI, and problem-solving to meaningful projects. I am eager to collaborate with experienced engineers, learn best practices in software development, and strengthen my ability to design scalable, impactful solutions. This experience would help bridge the gap between my academic knowledge and industry application, preparing me to deliver real value as a future software engineer. I also really enjoy working in a group setting as I love meeting new people and learning from others.
Before Summer 2026, I'll be getting:
I'm an international Student who's well-traveled, with the US being the 4th country I've resided in I enjoy social hobbies like watching and playing soccer, exploring food-related activities, whether it's cooking or dining out, and traveling to new places But what I love more than anything is my family, friends, and community For that reason, I'm passionate about artificial intelligence and Machine learning Mastering such a complex innovation can allow me to make the world a better and more accessible place for the public Whether it's a model that can help diagnose illnesses faster or a chatbot tailored to educate people with accessibility needs, these innovations can make a significant difference
