Abigail Fisher

I have assisted in ministry at my Church, including reading from the Scriptures and singing both in the regular choir and the youth praise band.

I have participated in many Vacation Bible School weeks as a teen helper. My jobs included decorating, leading skits, teaching various ages, and interacting with families at my parish.

I have also been involved with the Diocesan Work Camp, where I was on a crew of high school students with an adult leader; we helped build a new in-ground deck for a gentleman in need.

I have also volunteered to paint the interior of parish buildings. I have assisted in bake sales, pancake breakfasts, and the Christmas store for Sunday school children at my parish.

I am one of a family of thirteen children. I have often helped by looking after my younger siblings as well as children of my parents' friends. This includes finding activities for various ages, cleaning up, and maintaining a positive atmosphere.

I have worked in conditions that required patience, gentleness, and good humor, and have endeavored to live up to that.
