Projects

  • Mason Exhibits, Offerings to the Potomac, 05/2025, 05/2026, I curated an exhibit in collaboration with Mason Exhibits on local indigenous art. I created a complete exhibit script with identification and interpretive labels. Extensive research was completed in the span of five months through local archives, library databases such as EBSCO and JSTOR, and personal accounts. I worked with local tribe members to display their cultural objects.
  • Archives for Berlin Missiles in Ober Olm, 01/2024, 12/2024, I worked with German students to search through archives on the topic of a missile bunker located in the national park in Ober Olm, Germany. This bunker and base were a hot spot during WWII. The bunker still remains in the park, and visitors were left confused about why it was there. Our goal was to search through materials to find the purpose of this bunker and the history behind it. I used sources such as the National Archives and archived Stars and Stripes magazines to find materials related to this project. My team and I reached out to military members who were stationed at this base. Our end goal was a signboard sample that could be used in the national park to give reference to visitors. It included images of the missiles and quotes from local Germans during the time period of their interactions with American military members.
