I am a Certified Doula (CD), Certified Childbirth Educator (CBE), Certified Breastfeeding Counselor (CBC), Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator, and owner of Bloom Mama Doula Services. I am skilled in group instruction and empowering expectant parents through engaging classes and personalized support. This support and education enhances their understanding of labor dynamics and promotes optimal fetal positioning for a smoother pregnancy and birth experience. I pride myself on being a dynamic and culturally competent birth worker for my community.

She sent me personal videos of labor moves, checked on me frequently, motivated and encouraged me. When we arrived at the birthing center she assisted me into a labor move that broke my water with the second contraction and our baby was born in less than 2 hours. "Amara was amazing! This was my 2nd time giving birth however my first time natural & drug free! My labor was going great but very slow on picking up. Amara arrived at the birth center and got right to it helping me bring my contractions closer together and stronger to help labor progress. After 3 hours of her being by my side helping me switch positions and helping me emotionally even when I tried to give up and go to the hospital I pushed out my sweet girl just how I wanted and dreamed about!!
