Dedicated Investigator focused on keeping general public safe through superior investigation of crimes and offenses. Assists fellow employees, superiors and community leaders in complex investigations of crimes against people, property crimes and organized crime.
Duties: Criminal Investigations, Child Forensic Interviews, Court Testimonials, Crime Scene Investigations, Evidence Collections and handling, documentation of all duties and reports, collaborating with other agencies, obtain and execute search warrants and subpoenas. Flexible work hours (on-call status or new cases would require longer hours to du to unexpected urgent issues), To interview various people pertaining to various subjects/issues and to identify any discrepancies or inconsistencies and to be able to extract as much information as possible. Document everything then finalize it in a a detailed report for court or legal proceedings.
Duties: Investigations, Tactical Training School, Tactical Team member, assist with teaching women's self defense, Driving Instructor for new LEO recruits, Child Safety Seat Instillation, Crime Scene Photography School.
Skills: Relate with people of various cultures, genders, races, religions, disabilities and backgrounds to conduct basic investigative procedures while following the standard regulations and operations of the department. Opens this required fact finding and working in conjunction with other agencies both within and not within the law enforcement community. All cases were documented with final reports either to substantiate court or legal proceedings or to further law enforcement efforts for other jurisdictions.
Accomplishments/Duties:
* State LE Academy, Enforce Fish, Game and Boating Laws and Regs.
*Patrol and conduct surveillance in designated areas, answer wildlife calls, issued permits for crop damage, investigate illegal hunting complaints, investigate hunting and boating accidents, man tracking - to assist local LE find lost individuals.
*Assist local LE with responding to hostile or distressed situations, I have also been trained to read verbal and nonverbal cues and to respond appropriately while listening to others and using correct people skills for different situations.
* I also often gave reports and court testimonials for criminal violations
I was a Boarding Team member (conduct vessel safety and contraband checks)
* Small boat "Captain" that conducted chart navigations, plot charts and courses for search and recovery and emergency response for vessels in distress "Mayday".
* I also preformed safety checks on equipment,
*Conducted radio communications,
*Assisted in helicopter operations with small boat transfers as both "captain" and crew member
** This is where I learned early on to be contentious about attention to detail while preforming work.
