Position Overview: As an Emergency Medical Dispatcher at AEC-MTRR, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing ambulance transport services for patients in need of interfacility transfers. Working closely with our dispatch team and ambulance crews, you will be responsible for ensuring timely response to medical emergencies and coordinating the safe transport of patients to their designated healthcare facilities.

Summary of Position: This position reports directly to the Program Director and directly supervises the
Residential Counselors. This is a professional position. Under general supervision, develops, implements
and monitors training programs and supervises and assists clients with a diagnosis of intellectual or
developmental disabilities in a residential group home program; and performs other work as required.
Develops and maintain a training environment by assisting individuals to develop self-help, independent-
living, social and leisure skills. Work hours may vary Monday-Sunday to include evenings, weekends and
holidays
Develops and implements individual program plans.
• Provides instruction on daily living skills such as shopping, food preparation, budgeting, and
housekeeping.
• Assists and supervises individuals in a residential environment.
• Trains and monitors individuals in social skills such as etiquette and interpersonal relations.
• May assist individuals in selecting and arranging routine or emergency medical care and first aid.
• Instructs and supervises individuals in self-help skills such as personal hygiene and grooming.
• May transport individuals to work, doctor's appointments, leisure activities; program sites or other
destination when appropriate according to program plans.
• Trains and supervises individuals in leisure activities and the proper use of free time.
• Maintains program records and prepares reports as required and requested.
• Under close supervision, may counsel clients.
• May provide case management services to clients to include individual needs assessment, service
planning, linking and monitoring of service deliveries.
• Be able to administer medication according to established procedures.
• May perform house cleaning or minor repairs.
• Lead staff training as designated by CEO or Program Director.
• Complete monthly supervisions for all staff supervised.
• Conduct monthly staff meetings at designated group home(s).
• Participates in on-call rotation. Provides on-call support to on-duty-staff.
• Performs related work as required. Knowledge of intellectual disabilities and related problems; good knowledge and skills needed for
community living; interpersonal skills, to include the ability to empathize and demonstrate respect and
patience; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to perform basic accounting
tasks such as completing individual cash forms, checking account maintenance and petty cash forms;
ability to climb stairs; ability to maintain program records and to develop clear and concise programs
plans; and must be able to work and make judgments independently, as well as function as a team. Meet
