• Manage the entire loan lifecycle, from the origination of loans to the final payoff or closure.
• Coordinate with credit bureaus to investigate and resolve credit report inaccuracies, including; misapplied payments, fraud, incorrect loan status, etc. in compliance with the FCRA.
• Accurately upload dealer loan data into the system, including loan terms, borrower details, vehicle information, and collateral data.
• Work closely with the collections department to ensure that all charge-offs, shadows and non-accruals are processed and properly documented.
• Accept all paper and electronic vehicle titles from dealerships or borrowers and update the system to reflect updated collateral details.
• When loans are paid off, process the release of the vehicle paper or electronic lien, ensuring that the borrower receives the title without the lienholder’s claim.
• Ensure that loan files are indexed and searchable for quick retrieval.
• Monitor the daily report of GGL loan accounts for accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues that require resolution.
• Process and apply payments to SBA loan accounts, verifying that all payments are applied correctly to loan balances and in accordance with SBA loan terms and servicing guidelines.
• Review and allocate incoming ELT bills and invoices to the correct accounts.
• Process payment corrections and resolve any discrepancies related to misapplied or unprocessed payments.
• Provide cross-functional support as needed, assisting other teams with loan servicing-related tasks and inquiries.
• Process loan modifications, ensuring that payment schedules and terms are updated accurately.
• Perform reconciliations of loan-related general ledger accounts.
• Send paid loan documents as well as released collateral to customers in a timely manner after confirming loan payment completion.
• Prepare and submit UCC filings for new loans, as well as file UCC-3 terminations when loans are paid off or the security interest is otherwise satisfied.
• Monitor and review all incoming loan servicing-related emails, ensuring that they are addressed in a timely manner.
