  • Installed drywall panels(ranging from 1/8'-1'), insulation, framing(metal/steel & sometimes wood support/"backing"), track, chard wall panels (ranging from 1'-3.5') efficiently.   • The last few months w/the company, I was startling to get classes/training on blue prints/ lay-outs & the more drawing/architectural side of construction. Am very good w/mathematics, equations, fractions & understanding/reading complicated lay-outs/blueprints.
  • On a day-day basis I did everything from; installing dry-wall, basic laborer work, cleaning, picking up trash, handling material delivery's & paper work, moving materials, installing insulation/ insulation paper, grid work, framing, wood backing, operating tools/machinery & a few other, "odd'n'in" jobs.
  • I was terminated by this employer due to being a single parent & my son's mother was overseas for the majority of the summer for college. She had an opportunity to go to multiple different countries over the span of 2.5 months, for extra credits & special courses/classes. I had notified the company almost half a year in advanced that, I would be missing a lot o/work to take care of my son while she was gone. After a few months of missing 2-3 days a week, they had to terminate my employment for excessive tardiness.

  • W/this company, I started as a 'Chester's Chicken' fryer cook. These duties included opening/closing(depending on shift) the 'Chester's Chicken' side of the restaurant solo. I had to continuously; greet customers, offer top notch customer service, be aware o/the cleanliness o/the grease to ensure taste & proper cooking o/the chicken, keep all fried foods up-to regulations & stocked for customers to order, operate register, handle payments/cash drops, maintain clean/ organized work area, have food prep. always prepared in plentiful amounts & much more. While here I did obtain a food handlers license & receive 2 raises.
  • Then I got transferred w/in the company location to 'Store Maintenance Technician.' While in this role I was responsible for; the outer appearance o/the location(buildings, gas/diesel bays, side walks, parking lots, weeds, trash/trash cans & etc.), pressure washing, cleaning windows, assisting w/interior appearance(showers, bath rooms, stocking coolers & etc.) & helping the tire shop w/'tire pass checks' & filling propane tanks. While in this role I was certified to handle procaine tanks, 'hotsy' pressure washer & received another raise/promotion.
  • When I got my license re-instated I finally got moved to position I wanted in the tire shop. I became a certified 'Tire Technician' & was a diesel mechanical apprentice by the time I had left. I received 2-3 more raises during this time(where I spent the majority o/my employment w/this company).
  • Performed tire; installations, rotations, balances, repairs, replacements & inspections efficiently. I also replaced/performed; break pad replacements, drum break adjustments/replacements, DOT inspections, oil changes, filter changes, road calls/services, air ling/gas ling/oil line repairs/replacements, shock/shock absorber replacements & much more while working w/or being taught by the certified mechanics. All while; providing excellent customer service, handling shop phones, collecting POS(Purchase Order's), dealing w/corporate &/or international accounts, following procedures/shop rules to ensuring safety compliance and quality standards.
  • Safely operated company service vehicle's w/out any incidents, in all sorts of weather condition's.
  • While in the shop I did a little bit o/every thing. It was a very physically demanding job, WY. is a very bitter cold winter & excessively hot summer, the wind is brutal & I worked on the 2nd deadliest Interstate in the US. I was taught a lot about mental toughness while here.

Accomplishments

All through-out my years in school, I received many awards(not participation awards), in a variety o/sports. In my opinion this demonstrates my drive, work ethic, commitment & ability to not only be apart o/a team, but also demonstrate leadership skills, set goals, handle adversity & compete w/ myself & other's to be better.

I received/completed my GED in 2023.

I completed a 2-year apprenticeship in a single year w/CJ Cakley to receive my drywall tech. certifications(& many others cert.'s).

I was apart o/a very competitive men's league basketball team in 2023-2024. We played in the championship multiple times(winning a championship ring one o/the season's).

Having my son & completely turning around my life is probably my greatest accomplishment. I was a completely different person before he was born & have completely 180-ed my life.
