Ms. Hartless oversees the construction department for Brandywine’s Central Virginia Region which is comprised of 4 million square feet. In addition to overseeing the in-house General Contractor entity, her responsibilities encompass all facets of the construction process for office product development. Her Class “A” office building and land development experience includes Gateway Center II, Overlook I and II, Three Paragon Place, Twin Hickory and Dabney land development, over 300,000 square feet and $35-$40M. In addition, since joining Brandywine Realty Trust in 1999, Ms. Hartless has built out over two million square feet of office space totaling over $50M for organizations such as ADP, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms, Capital One, the Greater Richmond Chamber, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Internal Revenue Service, Morgan Stanley, Nationwide Insurance, NVR Ryan Homes, Philip Morris, The Associated Press, Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley, Inc., University of Virginia Spiders Management, U.S. Court of Appeals Fourth Circuit, U.S. Secret Service, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Department of Taxation, and Virginia Community College System. Ms. Hartless began her career in commercial real estate in 1986 at Faison Associates before joining Childress Klein Properties where she worked in a variety of positions in the construction, marketing and accounting fields. Major projects include a Class “A” office/mixed use complex (with an atrium and hotel) of over one million square feet, a regional mall and two retail shopping centers. Ms. Hartless is an Alumni of Philips Business College. She is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), the Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate, James River Green Building Council and Virginia Supportive Housing Development Committee. Prior board positions include CREW, St. Edward Epiphany School, Powhatan Junior Woman’s Club and Powhatan Soccer Association.
