ROLE:
-As CXM I teach, coach, and train associates daily on taking care of customers first and foremost, which includes executing all customer service metrics and behaviors.
-Make sure that sidekick daily execution is completed 100%
-Make sure all closing MOD duties are completed. .
-On daily basis check store racetrack and laydown events to make sure product is regularly packed down/out.
-Conduct nightly store meetings with associates and department heads
ACHEIVEMENTS:
-Credit Captain: 2024-2025. Our store was 1 of 4 stores to make credit goal in the district for the entire year
-Customer service metrics: #1 last year in the district in GET and Cashier friendliness
VOA Captain: 2022-2023, 2025-present. Our store was #1 in district on last VOA survey in July 2024 for ACI at 84% and also #1 in leader behaviors at 80%.
ROLE: Store manager 2008-2018
As store manager I was directly responsible for, hiring and training of new associates, monthly store planogram/event merchandising setup, managing weekly payroll and store monthly P & L (rent, utilities, signage, supplies), direct ordering of store supplies bi-weekly, processing and transporting of store transfers, managing markdowns weekly, responsible for store maintenance (cleaning, changing out fixtures and light bulbs, ceiling tiles, building displays in store, weekly completion and auditing of all sales and operational paperwork.
Senior Store manager 2012-2014:
I traveled 2-3 times per month to stores in the Roanoke and Lynchburg market where I taught and trained store associates and store managers on product knowledge, sales events, merchandising, policy updates and changes. I would audit stores sales and operational paperwork as well as check their event and planogram execution for accuracy and completion.
ACHEIVEMENTS: during my tenure as store manager, my store was consistently one of the top performing stores in the region for sales, sales drivers and company loyalty programs.
