Through my affiliation with UVA, I was able to get paid by the GOP of Virginia to help run door canvassing for the election. Through this experience, I got to meet and talk to various people and learned more about the political landscape of Virginia. With this being said, this experience showcased the fundamentals of running a campaign and the dirty work it takes to run a successful one.
