I started my career at Valvoline in hopes of becoming an Automotive Technician one day. I consumed as much could, performing services in varieties of vehicles. I slowly gained my experience in identifying vehicle issues and worn out parts. I got better at performing services and learning more about cars. I am now a GS Automotive Technician with extensive experience at Manassas Auto and Tire, specializing in brake system repair and vehicle inspections. Proven ability to enhance customer satisfaction through effective communication and service. Skilled in alignments and tire mounting, I consistently ensure optimal vehicle performance while maintaining a strong focus on teamwork and efficiency.

At this location, I further advanced my skills in diagnosing vehicles as well as more hands on experience with lots of brakes, suspension and alignments. I also got trained by service advisors, learning how to use applications like ALL Data and Auto Fluent. Here are some of the work I performed.
AT this location, I learned The breakdown of servicing Each vehicle and why they needed different maintenances. I Started Topside of the vehicles which consisted of topping off all fluids, inspecting drive belt conditions as well as batteries. And learning how to identify leaks and worn out parts. From there i moved on to bottom side, where my main task was to replace the oil drain plug along with the filter. I also learned how to do fluid exchanges with different transmissions and differentials. I also worked at the window, selling different services to customers based off mileage and the vehicles condition.
During my year working at Valvoline, I was taught important skills working with automotive along with working with a team.
