Throughout my high school football career, sophomore through senior year, I gained experience filming our team's practices and games. During my sophomore season while on the JV football team, I filmed all eleven of our varsity team's games. I filmed most of these games from on top of the press box, but I also filmed multiple times from an end zone camera. My experience filming these games taught me the importance of different angles in football film. I was able to notice and appreciate the many different aspects of a singular play. I learned when to focus on the box, the wide outs, or the secondary while filming. Because I was on the JV football team the season I was filming, this encouraged me to learn from the film to help me play better. This ultimately allowed me to understand what a player and coach are thinking about and looking for as they watch film. Throughout my junior and senior seasons on the varsity team, I watched film multiple times a week with my coaches and teammates. I learned what the coaches were focusing on, and what was most helpful for them to see while watching and dissecting the film.
Other work experience includes working as a cashier, stocker, and grill cook at Huguenot Little League. I learned how to communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and managers. I also gained attention to detail by managing inventory and restocking when needed.
