I recently completed my Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology, hoping to soon start my masters in International Security. I am driven by a deep curiosity about human behavior, culture, and society. My academic background has sharpened my analytical skills and broadened my understanding of diverse perspectives, which I apply both in research and everyday interactions.
Since the age of 16, I have gained experience across various industries, developing adaptability and a strong work ethic. I’ve worked in customer service roles at a movie theater and Lowe’s, where I honed my ability to communicate effectively and collaborate efficiently. In the summer of 2023, I worked alongside a skilled trade worker, assisting in home repairs, carpentry, and electrical work. This experience not only built my technical skills but also deepened my appreciation for craftsmanship and hands-on labor.
Currently, I work as a bartender, a role that allows me to engage with a wide range of people every day. The ability to connect with people from all walks of life has strengthened my social adaptability and reinforced my passion for cultural studies and human interaction.
Without realizing it at the time, my academic journey and diverse work experiences have shaped my outlook on the world. They have also given me the ability to adapt, connect, and navigate different social dynamics with ease.
My background blends analytical and practical skills, and whether in academic research, hands-on labor, customer service, or leadership, I bring a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a passion for learning new perspectives. I’m always looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge, develop new skills, and connect with others who share my drive for growth and exploration.
Outside of work and academics, my passions include writing, producing, and listening to music, playing video games, and enjoying sports—both as a player and a fan.
