  • I was a Policy Service Representative with USAA for almost 10 years and I loved every minute of it.
  • I originally started working in the Norfolk Office and worked there for approximately five years.
  • I then transferred to the Phoenix office where I continued to work in Policy Service for about five more years.
  • I have had over 20 years of experience in various jobs in the Customer Service Field.
  • For me though there has been no other job that has been more rewarding than serving our members.
  • I have served on the Pride Team and have been awarded several Pride Tributes and Wow Stars.
  • I have had the privilege to step in and help out in other areas in USAA when additional support was needed.
  • I worked in banking doing mortgages applications.
  • I also worked several times in Claims for several months each time the additional help was needed.
  • I was also asked by the managers to train several claims teams on how to ask for additional products because my numbers in this area were so high.
  • I was happy to assist our claims dept with this and the training I facilitated resulted in the Phoenix office taking first place for the contest they were competing in for that quarter.
  • I have had Specialty training to insure certain states like New York, Penna and Massachusetts and Hawaii.
  • I also worked on a Special Deployment Team for our members which was to make sure every detail was taken care of before they deployed.
  • My time with USAA was wonderful and the various training helped to strengthen my decision making skills and showed me how to think out the box.
  • These skills are wonderful because they can be used in all facets of my life.
  • One other job I was asked to do was very rewarding and they only picked two of us to work the FR-19 project that we would do for six months.
  • This was a project that was time sensitive and had to be in compliance with the state and the court system.
  • The details and accuracy were very important and we were under time constraint for each order.
  • I felt very privileged to be given the opportunity to serve our members in this capacity.
