Accomplishments

As the principal of Appomattox Middle School, I worked with staff to raise English test scores from 66% to 83%, Math test scores from 61% to 90%, and Science test scores from 76% to 87%.


As the Supervisor of Instruction and Federal Programs, I co-created a summer school program based solely at area churches so students would have access to educational services and socialization with peers during the peak of the Covid-19 Pandemic during the summer of 2020.


As the Supervisor of Instruction and Federal Programs, I wrote and managed $7.6 million worth of CARES Act grants.


As Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and CTE, I was able to expand our course offerings at Appomattox County High School to include three new CTE courses (Drone Operations, Criminal Justice, and HVAC) and increase our dual enrollment courses by 300%.
