  • Supervised the Restorative housing unit (RHU) on average I was in charge of about 40-55 inmates directly. With an additional 250-300 inmates on days when I was the only sergeant in the building. I made sure the inmates in RHU had the proper amount of out of cell time and served all 3 meals as well as making sure they have everything they were required or allowed to have.
  • Maintained records of all incidents involving inmates or personnel in the facility. All proper paper work and every occupied cell had to be updated on a daily basis including logging every hour for rounds. All charges had to be served and giving a copy to the inmate in the proper time.
  • Performed daily inspections, weekly fire drills, as well as weekly logs and inspections of the entire building I was assigned too.
