My experience from working in the food industry as a short order cook, waitress, and trainer has given me the skill set necessary to interact with the public and my peers. I have worked in fast paced environments that have honed my efficiency, problem solving skills, and ability to work well in a team based environment. I have taken on many leadership roles, guiding those around me.
I began as a waitress and earned the privilege to cook for the entire restaurant within six months. As a waitress, I took care of all customers in the restaurant and my closing duties. As a short order cook, I fulfilled all orders for the restaurant, trained new employees, and took on a managerial position.
I fulfilled customers orders, trained new employees, and worked closing shifts. I took on a leadership role, guiding employees and directing them to provide efficient customer service.
