  • As a Department of the Army Civilian Employee, the agency was responsible for the oversight of all the U.S. Army's drug and alcohol programs worldwide. (United States, US Army Europe, Korea, Pacific Command, etc.) Duties included an overall assessment of various components, both clinical and administrative. Major emphasis is placed on the overall assessment from a command perspective of the successes and failures of the program at the installation.

  • As a department of the Army Civilian employee, led a staff of five trainers and administrative staff, whose responsibility included training all personnel who matriculated in the U.S. Army's drug and alcohol programs in the U.S. Army Europe and Korea. Developed comprehensive training programs for counselors, clinical supervisors, employee assistance professionals, prevention education specialists, and physicians. Courses were one to two weeks in length. They included Group and Individual Counseling, Clinical Supervision, Employee Assistance, and Clinical Consultation. In addition, numerous workshops were conducted throughout the U.S. Army Europe on many related topics.
