I am a small family man with strong morals and values. I spend my free time away from my family serving my community as a Volunteer Firefighter-Emergency Medical Technician. I began my path with emergency services at the age of fifteen, following in my fathers shadow. Since then I have achieved many certifications including Virginia Firefighter 1 &2, Hazardous Materials Response and Awareness, Introduction to Technical Rescue, Virginia and National Registry Emergency Medical Technician. I respond with this agency in my free time for emergency and non emergency calls, training events, and public education. I continue my education and soon will become certified as a CPR Instructor through the American Heart Association. I feel that my experience with such an agency as given me a keen eye for risk management and injury mitigation. I have held myself to a high level and have earned the trust of my peers and enjoy training the younger members as they become involved in this field. Aside from my time with the fire department I enjoy being a dad to my three children. I am goal oriented and plan to build a career that gives me satisfaction as well as benefits my family and their needs.
