I was awarded the Life-Saving award for efforts from March 29, 2024. On that date, I responded to an overdose call. Upon arrival, I made contact with a male that was actively overdosing inside his truck. Officer Spears and I removed the male from his truck and began administering Narcan and CPR. Spears and I took turns completing several rounds of chest compressions and multiple doses of Narcan were administered. After several rounds of compressions, the male began showing signs of life as EMS arrived on scene. EMS personnel advised they believed Officer Spears and I saved the life of the male. I was awarded the Life-Saving award by Chief B. Ashbrook on May 27, 2025 during a department meeting.
