During my time in law enforcement, I feel I have shown the capability of handling new situations within the scope of the job. I am always open to advancement and taking on new responsibilities. I feel a major part of being a supervisor is your listening skills, not just your authority. During my time as a supervisor, it has always been a goal of mine to mentor and train Officer's so they can better themselves during their own individual careers. I have always presented myself professionally in any job I have worked and will continue to do so.
I have worked alongside numerous subordinates, assisting in their training and development as a Police Officer. I have checked reports for accuracy, assisted Officer's on scenes, and answered numerous questions they may have had while working with me. I assisted my Lieutenant in making sure deadlines were met such as payroll, trainings, and numerous others. During my time as a Patrol Sergeant, I always strived to make my Officers ready for the next step and to become a Sergeant one day themselves.
I have worked as a Police Officer for the Town of Pulaski for three years. I have carried myself in a professional manner and feel i have represented the department well. I have responded to calls of service and other aspects of law enforcement in accordance with the law and department policy.
I manned access points to different locations on the plant, checking identification and searching vehicles. I conducted routine patrol to maintain a safe environment for employees. Other responsibilities included traffic enforcement, building searches, and ensuring employees were within guidelines of the facilities policy. During my time working Armed Security at the plant, I obtained my secret security clearance.
Welcomed visitors and customers and referred them to the proper salesperson for their individual needs. I assisted working financial deals with Shelor and the banks who provided customers automotive loans. My primary job was to get customers to come back to Shelor as repeat customers.
I advertised my business primarily focusing on lawn care and smaller landscaping jobs. Met with potential customers giving them quotes and insuring a professional job. Organized a schedule to allow all customers jobs get done in an efficient and timely manner.
My primary focus was to represent the store in a professional manner when speaking with customers. I had to locate, address, and figure out how to problem solve in different delivery situations. I also repaired customers furniture when a problem occurred. I helped sell furniture when the salesmen were busy with other customers. During downtime there were numerous jobs that required building, plumbing, and other various work at the store.
I was the primary employee who opened the store to stock the shelves and freezer section. I prepared food for customers on the line, worked the grill, took orders in drive threw, and worked the front register. As my first job, I learned how to professionally represent an organization I work for.
