• Captain

Assist the Sheriff by enforcing policies and regulations. Maintained daily contact with supervisors and patrol staff on day-to-day operations. Assist on calls of service as needed. Maintain the work schedule for Sussex County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division consisting of twenty-four patrol staff. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining court staffing, training scheduling, vehicle maintenance, and equipment inventory.

• School Resource Officer

Protect the lives and property of the citizens and public school students. Enforce federal, state, and local criminal laws and ordinances. Assisted the school officials with administrative regulations regarding student conduct. Investigated criminal activity committed on or adjacent to school property. Council public school students on special situations.

• Jailor

Maintain records for all inmates and coordinate their release by ensuring that proper documents for both processes are completed accurately. Conduct security checks to ensure the security of detained inmates. Ensure that inmates comply with the rules and regulations of the jail. Maintain discipline and control of the jail.

• Patrol Deputy

Provide safety and good order to the community. Identify criminal offenders and criminal activity where appropriate, apprehend offenders, and participate in the subsequent court proceedings. Reduce the opportunities for the commission of crime through preventative patrol and other measures.

• Duties include checking and reporting the accuracy performances of individual associates in volume production areas based on predetermined standards.

• Duties involved working on various machines and saws. Provide assistance to the press operator.

• Operated Uniloy R-2 Machine which produces water bottles that are inspected before being sold. Packing bottles onto assembly lines. Mechanical repairs and adjustments to maintain good operation of machinery. Used forklifts and other power tools to fulfill the duties of my job.

• Work with the grounds crew. Inspected boards. Ensured each manufacturer’s ticket was accurate for the board to be strapped for shipping. Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the plant, operations of the payloader, forklift, dump truck, bobcat, weed eater, lawnmower, etc. All skills consisted of production experience.

• Used problem-solving skills to alleviate issues efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Assisted in maintaining outdoor areas such as landscaping, snow removal, and general upkeep efforts for an aesthetically pleasing environment year-round.
