  • Provided direct support to the US Navy for nearly 12 years as an operator for Mk 18 Family of Systems in both CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Responsible for the conduct of UUV missions in support of mine countermeasure training and operational objectives
  • Supported test and evaluation missions related to introduction of new or upgraded system hardware and software to increase mission readiness and capability to the fleet
  • Created mission programs using Mk 18 Family of Systems equipment custom tailored to meet requirements of Concept of Operations or other mission objectives
  • Followed prescribed tactics, techniques, and procedures in execution of planned missions; such as, transit to and from search area, launch, tracking, and recovery of vehicles and associated hardware, and reported mission status through prescribed communication channels
  • Upon return to base, compiled and analyzed gathered mission data, selected and marked objects of interest, prepared post-mission data products and reports as required and archived data
  • As an FSR supporting MDSU, drafted and provided mini-Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that addressed key functional processes in a more usable format for teams underway, such as: pre-mission/post-mission operations, sonar operations, milvan support, etc
  • Developed JQRs and assessed personnel on performance status
  • Conducted routine maintenance and completed necessary equipment repairs if required
  • Qualified on all relevant systems (Mk 18 Mod 2, Mk 18 Mod 1, ATLAS, SSAM, and SeaBotix ROV)
