Responsibilities:

• Drive Improvements and Enhancements: Identified and implemented improvements in RDA operation efficiency and developed new Best Known Methods (BKMs). Collaborated with teams for proper deployment and supported fab-wide training efforts by creating and delivering area-specific training materials. Evaluated certification data to identify training gaps and worked with training representatives and mentors to address them. Participated in or led cross-functional teams to address yield, quality, or LOS goals.
• Demonstrate Leadership Qualities: Led and motivated team members by displaying natural soft skills such as listening and patience. Served as an influential mentor, driving issues to resolution and challenging team members to improve performance. Developed potential excursion engineer successors from within the process technician team.
• Support and Promote Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security Policy: Communicated problems or concerns to appropriate individuals, ensured proper notification for events, and promoted a positive culture for safety and environmental programs. Identified risks to the local environment and escalated them to minimize impact. Ensured compliance with safety and environmental policies and held team members accountable for performance gaps.
• Ensure Product Quality: Monitored, troubleshot, and resolved defect-related excursion issues through line monitoring and basic level analysis. Utilized data mining and analysis tools to determine the source of defect issues and engaged process areas in defect investigations. Organized and drove RDA shift actions in response to fab-wide events impacting production quality. Created and presented data-rich presentations on defect investigations and followed up on identified action items.
• Engage in Defect Investigations: Worked with RDA module engineers to understand defect-reduction experiments and executed shift actions associated with such work. Stayed up to date on current defect issues and recognized known defect signatures. Audited DTS case closures and QDRs, provided real-time feedback to shift team members, and followed all available documentation and procedures.
• Identify and Troubleshoot RDA Inspection Tool Issues: Identified alignment and recipe issues with RDA inspection tools and worked with shift equipment techs and area equipment engineering teams to determine root causes and obtain proper inspection data. Determined which toolset or toolset class should be used for setting up partitions or non-Process On Record (POR) scans when sourcing defect issues.
