gain insight in to the care of patient with chronic or acute psychiatric challenges. participate in the assessment of patient with possible dementia, depression and anxiety, using the standard assessment tools associated with each condition. Also, engaged in admission and evaluation of patient for possible admission or 24 hours observation.


Internal Medicine      June 26 - August 15 2025

• Assessed high-risk patients pre-operatively and adjusted medical therapies in order to promote more favorable outcomes. Followed these patients post-operatively.

 • Cared for patients with gestational hypertension and diabetes on the Obstetrics ward. Encountered a rare drug interaction, which required a literature search in order to understand and treat the situation.
