  • Guided my division through a nuclear readiness and safety inspection, earning the ship its best score in the past ten years and my division the highest marks in the department
  • Led completion of 16-month availability, correcting over 1,500 deficiencies and enabling ship to leave early for first time in 21 years.

  • Served as Officer of the Deck, directing the safe navigation and operation of a $2 billion warship and ensuring the safety of all 300+ sailors onboard. Accumulated over 1000 hours of navigation experience in high-density ports without incidents.
  • Provided aid to MSC ships transiting through Straits of Hormuz under pressure from Iranian military; escorted over 35 ships safely through without conflict.
