Provides advanced life support as a lead paramedic in a rural, EMS-driven fire department with extended transport times and limited resources. Responds to medical emergencies, structure fires, vehicle extrications, and rescue calls. Maintains readiness through daily equipment checks, continuing education, and cross-disciplinary training.

Supports emergency department operations by initiating IVs, administering medications, and performing respiratory treatments under physician or nursing direction. Works closely with the care team to stabilize patients, collect vital signs, and assist with procedures.

Performs routine vehicle maintenance services including oil changes, fluid exchanges, tire rotations, and battery replacements. Conducts multi-point inspections and communicates findings to service advisors and customers.
