• Led a team of ten college engineering mentors, managing all program-related aerospace subsystems.
• Reviewed and authorized final approvals and evaluations for student Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) deliverables.
• Promoted the professional design of an orbital mission to Enceladus to not exceed $450M, among 24 teams and 385 students.

Command and Data Handling, Mentor: May – August 2023 ( Summer )

• Led Teams 10 and 11 in the creation of a PDR for a robotics mission to the dwarf planet Ceres, to not exceed $300 million with a science payload to support research for origins and habitability.
• Managed the professional development of students and deliverables for Command and Data Handling, including office hours, inquiries, and subsystem support channels.
• Provided detailed feedback to help improve system design for mission lifecycle milestones MCR, SRR, MDR, PDR and final presentations for mock Standing Review Boards.

• Led Team 4 in the creation of a PDR supporting a rover to investigate Mars layered polar deposits meeting strict customer requirements with an allotted budget of $275M.
• Executed office hours, team meetings, provided technical deliverable feedback, and final review boards as the primary.

• Led Team 8 in the completion of a 111-page PDR and technical presentation outlining a $150M system to identify characteristics of NEO 2022 OE2-class Apollo in support of planetary defense.
• Individually completed an orbiter CAD design with 335 sketches and 205 extruded features, adhering to customer constraints for mass and volume.
• Earned program certifications in Requirements, Teaming, Project Management, Systems, Risk Management, Nx CAD, and Heat Transfer.

NASA Proposal Writing and Evaluation Experience

Principal Investigator, Alumni - May 2022 - August 2022 ( Summer )

• Led Team 4 to a top-5 proposal finish among 34 total student teams, classified as "fundable" by the Chief Technologist of Marshall Space Flight Center.
• Presented significant improvements in KPPs for inflight calibrations of fluxgate magnetometers.
• Electively constructed a working magnetometer prototype to support our claims and the merit of continued research.
