Scholarship Fund of Alexandria Call Night

Volunteered for the SFA Call night twice and during the hours that I was there I was calling people to ask them if they wanted to donate money for Scholarships for seniors that are accepted, to help them pay for college., 6

Run for T.C. Williams High School Track and Field JV Sprinters team.

Avid Ambassador

An Avid Ambassador in my Avid 10 class, we hold meetings at least once a month after school from 3:15-4:30. As an Avid Ambassador when the teacher has a substitute Teacher, we are supposed to make sure everyone is doing what they need to be doing. We are there if the teacher needs us in the classroom to go around and pass out papers or if a tutor is not there for the day, the Avid Ambassador has to run the tutorial group.

Black Student Union

As Part of the Fundraiser part of the club, we did things like Bake Sales to raise money for the club to be able to do things like go on College trips.

Bell Ringer, Lap Recorder, and Clock Starter at T.C Williams Track & Field Invitational

Ran the clock for all the races so that the runner could see their times, I rang the bell every time they were on the last lap on the long distance races, and for the long distance races I put on the board how many laps they had left.

Emergency Department Volunteer

Volunteered at Alexandria INOVA Hospital on Mondays and Wednesdays. I helped with Restock linen bins, blanket warmer and other supplies. Help visitors/support persons who are dealing with the unfamiliar setting by assisting with information and help finding rooms in the Emergency Room. I also assisted with cleaning the rooms after each patient was discharged from the Emergency Room.
