Secondly, I was encouraged to pursue this position if it became available by one of the crew leads in the Fishersville office. That crew lead, who at that time was the LOSC, has since been promoted to arborist representative. To not pursue this position would be to ignore his advice, which seems foolish to me. I assume that his time spent as the LOSC has helped to prepare him for his new role as arborist representative. If my assumption is correct, that position will do the same for me.

- I was an active member of the National FFA Organization from my 7th grade year to my 12th grade year of school. During my time there, I competed in multiple competitions including public speaking and forestry competitions, some of which were at the state level. I also raised money for my class by selling various items (apple butter, oranges, jerky) throughout the year. I was always a top seller.
