- Applying knowledge of field surveying methods, techniques and instruments in the measurement and location of lines, evaluate area angles, points and contours of the earth's surface; operate and maintain cutting to clear and blaze survey lines
- In the course of carrying out said duties the physical work includes digging holes, setting monuments and building mounds to ensure the monument's longevity
