Learned about the process of making glass and the cutting/handling of it thereafter with various machines. Managed important engineering projects that included quoting contractors for labor, quoting different companies for materials, and balancing material and labor cost. In addition, made sure that the contractors were abiding by the safety regulations and that they had all their necessary permits . Also learned about work orders, preventative maintenance, and making personal orders. Designed parts and layouts with AutoCAD and Inventor. Worked extensively with Plant and Engineering Manager. Gave weekly project reports and input during production meetings, as well as a final presentation of all the projects that I accomplished. Projects involved civil and mechanical engineering.
