  • Supervise the Housekeeping and Laundry Department for NGIS.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly invoices for the linen being washed and returned to NGIS.
  • Order supplies for the Housekeeping and Laundry Department when needed.
  • Do linen inventory monthly for all NGIS buildings so there isn't any linen missing or damaged.
  • Maintain the equipment being used on a daily basis to ensure it's in working condition.
  • Collaborate with the staff to determine the best plan to handle situations.
  • Schedule and plan work; loads as well as but not limited to monthly meets and required classes needed to maintain regulated guidelines to support the mission.
  • Consults with the Front Desk to learn of the guests wants and needs to make their stay at NGIS Pleasant and comfortable.
  • Conducts daily inspections of the guests rooms for cleanliness and makes sure amenities are stocked daily.
  • Maintain security measures to protect the guests, staff, and the mission assigned to the office.
  • Responsible for the security of the staff and guests keys.
  • Greet/Communicate with the guests and attend to their needs.
  • Answer any questions or concerns that the guests may have accordingly.
  • Make sure the laundry room, lobby areas and buildings areas are cleaned daily.
  • Manage the Housekeeping and Laundry Department personnel to make sure they are during their jobs within standards and guidelines.
  • Answering day to day questions about the NGIS buildings and it's operation.
  • Make sure the Housekeeping checklist is done accordingly.
  • Utilize the Property Management System to retrieve guest information to make or change guest reservations.
  • Verify room reservations , secures credit card for expenses and authorize credit card for room charges.
  • Receive requests and verify reservations if rooms are not available provide a CNA or other lodging in the area.
  • Maintain quests privacy at all times.
