Works as an Instructional partner with teachers.

In additional to working with all grade levels, I also:

  • KID Museum STEM cohort 2023-2025 for grades 2-4. In 2025, I modified and completed lessons for grades 2-4 to align with DCPS cornerstones. Folded additional inclusion time for our CES 3-5 students into KID Museum work.
  • I created an additional micro:bit class for 3rd grade.
  • Math Sphero Cornerstone for grade 4. I participate in this for the last four years.


Manages school-wide education technology, Clever, Canvas, device distribution, and OCTO Technician.

In addition to managing technology, I also:

  • Created Google websites for teachers during the pandemic, so that Seaton was online quickly and could support students within a week.
  • Work with DCPS technology to procure additional computers and other resources.
  • Monitor student usage and troubleshoot issues.
  • Evaluate and identified Educational Technology tools budget needed.


Promote reading in every class by creating an engaging student focused book collection.

  • Battle of the Books for 4th and 5th grade students along with 4th grade ELA teacher.
  • Publish monthly library newsletter to share library student achievement and technology data for staff and families.
  • Gentrified the fiction collection in 2020, which increased circulation by 15% and replaced outdated dewey classification with topical index to organize non-fiction collections to better help our students find resources.
  • Host author visits through An Open Book Foundation and by partnering with local bookstores.
  • Monitored and analyzed library usage data to identify trends and areas for improvement in service offerings.
  • Improved student access to resources by maintaining an organized, user-friendly library space with clear signage and well-planned shelving arrangements.
