Dynamic leader with a proven track record at Kroger, adept in problem-solving and team building. Elevated a low-performing e-commerce department to top 5 status through strategic staffing and technology updates. Skilled in customer service and staff management, showcasing rapid advancement from cashier to Assistant Store Manager with cross-functional expertise.
I entered the store management training program in January of 2023. I was assigned to my first location, store 367 in Johnson City, TN in May of 2023. In May of 2024, I was sent on a special assignment to assist store 399 in Hardy, VA for the summer. I was there until August of 2024, when I was assigned to my current location at store 322 in Vinton.
I held the role of pickup supervisor for a year and a half. During my time in role, I coached my team through technology updates, staffing issues, updated goals, all while staying focused on achieving metrics. When I took over the operation, our location was one of the lowest ranked stores in the district. When I was promoted to my current role, I left the location as a top 5 location.
In March of 2021 I was promoted to pickup lead. I served in this role for roughly 4 months before being promoted to supervisor. During my time in role, I assisted my direct supervisor in driving metrics, understanding our challenges, and finding corrective actions to overcome those challenges. I led the team in his absence and took initiative to react quickly to the fast paced environment.
I worked on the front end for roughly five years. Although my official title was cashier, I was trained to operate every position on the front end. I was trained to operate a register, monitor self checkout, and operate customer service. Additionally, I was trained to hang tags for ad break, make signs, and handle all other responsibilities of file scan coordinator. I was also trained in bookkeeping, serving as the main bookkeeper at my store for three years before moving departments.
