Kristen Yurkavage

Hello! My name is Kristen, and I am seeking a rewarding position in animal rehabilitation. Since I can remember, I have been caring for a diverse number of pets, and I currently am a mom to six fur babies. I have extensively researched the diet and care requirements of dogs, cats, birds, and currently more complex small companions like guinea pigs and hamsters. Patience, kindness, and consistency are necessary for animals to thrive. I would like to expand my knowledge and skills to include wildlife rehabilitation and rescue. I am a fast learner, and I am very independent in the workplace. I adapt quickly to different situations and am able to handle large or small animals, as necessary, without panic or fear. I hope to have the opportunity to learn and grow in the wildlife environment, and I am humbled to be part of such a rewarding program.
