ACE Award
The ACE Award, or Always Committed to Excellence Award, is an award given by Sentara Healthcare to recognize employees who demonstrate a commitment to excellence. I often go above and beyond to provide quality care to all of my patients as well as assisting all staff to the best of my abilities. There was a boy with cerebral palsy that was in and out of the hospital for a while and I would often stay with him after my shift to play his playstation with him. I did this in order to bring him happiness throughout the extremely tough times he was facing as well as provide the staff and his parents a little relief while also helping him to feel joy again.
