  • Team Lead and Instructor of the Broadcast, Radio, Television, Maintenance Systems Course. The course provides students with required skills to perform responsibilities of technician-level radio and television systems engineer. The training course design, targets building knowledge and skills necessary to support multimedia production and broadcast missions of the Department of Defense (DOD). Trained 48 students over 6 iterations equaling 576 training days.
  • Managed course curriculum and equipment relevancy within the course. Updated the Fiber Optic Cable and Connector installation and test master lesson plan, that added new Fiber connectors that align with industry standard. Re-wrote the lesson to align with new connectors and created images to ensure clear and concise visual aids for students to follow.
  • Ensured consistent delivery of high-quality instruction through regular monitoring of instructor performance metrics. Trained and Qualified four junior instructors, enabling them to to teach all seven functional areas of the course.
  • Master Training Specialist; Qualified within 9 months of being on the job. Transitioned into a trainer and mentor, assisted 11 people in the qualification process and is currently a member of the MTS qualification committee.

  • Combat Systems Maintenance Manager and Departmental Lead Chief Petty Officer, 64 personnel through an extended overhaul ship yard availability. Managed and completed 476 Work Authorization Forms and over 3,000 tag outs.
  • Safety Supervisor; Managed Tagout/ Lockout program, and the Fall Protection Program. Conducted weekly Audits on hundreds of Tags, ensuring safety of Equipment and Crew. Updated, maintained and abided by instructions in accordance with NAVSEA and OSHA requirements.
  • Combat Systems Subject Matter Expert, Quality Assurance authority for all Ship Yard installs to include new Fiber Optic Runs, Connector and Light test.
  • Led team of 26 Combat Electricians on 10 month deployment. Managed five work centers that operated and maintained over 4500 pieces of electronic equipment to included Radars, Communications, Sensors and Phones, fiber Optics, Announcing Systems, Flight Aids and test equipment.
