As a sailing instructor I worked from 8 in the morning to about 5 in the evening, Monday through Friday. My job was to teach 12-13 year olds how to sail Opti boats. I taught them how to rig, launch, sailing skills, and more. I worked with anther coach throughout the summer, and we were really good co-workers. It was a hard job, but very fulfilling, and I hope to work as a coach again this summer.
Skills I acquired from my job:
As a ranch hand, I mainly worked the mower for haying in the fields. I worked from about 8 in the morning to around 6 pm. I also helped with small machinery repair, and other small jobs around the ranch. I worked with an entire crew and we all worked well together. The job consisted of long work days, but it was very therapeutic and fulfilling.
