QSI is a sanitation company contracted by Tyson food. My position as a RTE sanitation worker required me to maintain safety equipment & protective clothing provided by QSI. (Hard hat, protective glasses, flashlight, lockout tagout lock&key, rain suit, rain boot). QSI is expected to clean all required areas of the building before 5 am. Departments start working at different times depending on when Tyson Workers are done. RTE department starts early as 11:30pm and as late as 2am. RTE(ready to eat) is where the food is frozen and packed. QSI RTE employees clean the belt and room that is used to transfer the food the freezer, as well as clean the freezer, and the belts and rooms used to transfer and pack the food. After cleaning, all areas are sprayed down with cleaning chemicals that kill as many the germs as possible, it sits for 15 minutes then gets sprayed off. Afterwards another solution in sprayed in the rooms and on equipment that stays. While in the freezer cleaning QSI RTE employees are required to shut down all power to the freezer and lock it out and they are not allowed to remove them until all employees have safely exited.

Stacked steel is a company that assembles and disassembles pallet racking systems, as well as cantilever racks. Its also a traveling company so certain employees such as myself were tasked with being on company insurance and being drivers. From state to state the equipment needed for the job ride is the back of the van in a tool chest that requires a forklift to remove it. Upon arriving at job sites most employees got straight to the floor to map out the job. My role consisteel of

• "IF" the steel frames needed for the pallet racking systems were not already unloaded from the truck I would do so.
• Most steel frames are longer than the door that is has to go through so i would have to maneuver through the doors with the steel frames on the forks.
• strategically place the frames in the work place area so it's not interfering with anyone else's work while also being in place for when they are ready for it.
• assemble each wall of the racking system while on the ground.
• stand them up with forklift.
• place rollers inbetween and repeat until it's done.
• when systems were too tall for forklift, a scissor lift was operate in order to put rollers at higher levels.
• NEVER miss a flight automatically comes out of your check for the next one

CHEP is a company that operates inside of Dollar General Distribution Center. CHEP employees deal with the pallets inside of dollar general, their duties are:

• Promoted operational efficiency by maximizing loads on each transfer.
• Updated daily logs with production data such as weights, destinations, and delivery times to keep management current on team activities.
• Reduced workplace accidents with thorough employee training on proper pallet stacking techniques.
• Support Capstone employees with pallets to unload trucks. Usually they would come and get pallets when needed but when behind CHEP employees are required to take them pallets.
• Use of Stand up forklift, sit down forklift, and pallet jack.

Capstone is a company that operates inside of Dollar General Distribution Center. Their employees unload the product that is stored and shipped out of Dollar General. Employees are expected to:

• Loaded, unloaded, and moved material to and from storage and production areas.
• Consistently lift materials weighing as much as 75-85 pounds.
• Maintained clean workspaces by enforcing strict housekeeping guidelines for storage areas, dock bays, and equipment zones.
• Operated various types of warehouse machinery safely, adhering to all relevant guidelines and protocols.
• Managed incoming shipments effectively by inspecting goods for quality control purposes before storing them appropriately.
• Maximized available storage space by utilizing vertical stacking techniques when arranging inventory items.
