My job was to work directly under the wine maker at barboursville winery. My tasks included inoculation of the grape juice for fermentation, after fermentation we bottled the wine, labeled the bottles and boxed them. Another task was to stack the pallets of wine in the warehouse four tears high for maximum use of space in the warehouse. Other tasks included order filling and labeling pallets to be shipped, loading shipments on to semi-trucks. Receiving shipments of glass bottles unloading them and stacking them three teirs high. The majority of the work involved operating both gas and electric forklifts. Another task was inventory of the warehouse every month.I have also worked out in the vineyards at barboursville. Those tasks included driving tractor with water tanks attached for irrigation of the vineyards. I've pretty much done everything there from making wine to even carpentry work on the cabins we had there including plumbing.
