- Initiated several needed ministries in the church, such as a weekly morning Bible study, a praise and worship ministry, a children's and teen's youth ministry and an outreach focus group.
- Established a positive relationship between FBC Grottoes and several businesses and organizations in the community through various service efforts.
- Led a revitalization in the church that has included dozens of salvations and baptisms, an increase in average Sunday morning church attendance from mid-twenties to over one hundred and an intentional emphasis on discipleship.
- Developed a second Sunday morning worship service along with Worship Pastor to accommodate church growth and meet the needs of the people of FBCG.
- Provided pastoral care for those attending FBCG through regular visitation, biblical counseling and accountability groups.
- Coordinated a new deacon family ministry strategy to help stay connected with congregation during Covid-19.
- Headed a team that oversaw the purchase of six acres of land for the purpose of future church expansion and growth.
- Organized and led the first mission trip in the church's history, taking a team of seven to run a VBS in Logan, West Virginia.
