• Hulls, Bulkheads, Frames, Foundations, Deck Plate, Inserts, T-Bars
• Maintain integrity of various alloys by following the Pre-Heat and Inter-Pass procedure
• Visually Level 1 (VT)inspect welds to assure all welds are in correspondence with procedure required
• Follow weld procedures, symbols and blueprint specifications
• Adherence to ALL Safety Protocol, OSHA 10 Standards, and Site Specific Regulations
• Weld in Vertical, Horizontal, Flat, Overhead Positions
• Obtain : Hot Work Permit
• Inspect Fire Bottle for Damage, Fully Charged, Current Inspection, Pin in Place
• Inspect Area – Remove Flammable Material, and Cover Equipment and Anything that cannot be Removed/Damaged with Fire Blanket.
• Sign and Post – “Hot Work Permit
• Maintain Watch over Area, Personnel and Equipment while “Hot Work” being conducted.
• Remain 30 minutes in area once all “Hot Work” completed.
• Clean Up – Discard trash and debris
