Matthew Jenkins

I am currently working as a part time trades tech at Douthat State Park, and looking for full time employment. I have experience in working in all aspects of the park. Since my employment at Douthat, I have experience in grounds maintenance (i.e., mowing, landscaping, snow removal, tree work, and trail maintenance). I can use a variety of tools, materials and equipment to maintain facilities and grounds. I continue to work on improving my skills in basic construction/maintenance trades (i.e., carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry etc.). I have helped install metal roofs, flooring painted building, made repairs to gazebos, boat docks, and wooden bridges. I can use a zero turn mower, walk behind, push mowers, weed eater and a variety of hand tools. I have experience with leading, directing, and training others about the different aspects of job and how to preform task to help maintain facilities and grounds. I am professional when I communicate with guest and other staff when I compose emails, correspondence and reports.
