Tim Wyatt Traffic Safety and The Life Saving Award
I have been award the Tim Wyatt Traffic Safety Award for the year of 2025 with the Roanoke County Police Department. The award is given to the individual who has exceptional overall enforcement efforts, significant arrest based on traffic enforcement, and outstanding efforts in community education, problem solving, or administrative projects that make a substantial contribution to traffic safety.
I have been awarded the Life Saving Award while working with The Virginia State Police previously. An incident occurred on Interstate 81 of which an individual had discharged his firearm into his leg, causing severe injuries. I arrived on scene and applied a tourniquet on the individuals leg. As a result, this helped save the individuals life.
