Family Readiness Assistant and Command Team Advisor
For the past 23 years my husband has been in the Marine Corps and I have been fortunate enough to get to volunteer with all of the Battalions he has been attached to. As a Family Readiness Assistant and Advisor, I played a vital role in helping maintain readiness of the Marine and Sailor families. Responsibilities included welcoming Marines and Sailors along with their families to the Battalion, maintaining rosters of families assigned to me, acting as a resource referral for services aboard the military bases as well as the surrounding community and working as a team alongside other Advisors and Assistants.
