Work History

VAW-120
01.2024 - Current
  • Limited Duty Personnel Work Center Supervisor.

Avionics Technician, IMRL Manager, 620 LPO

USS IWO JIMA (LHD-7)
08.2023 - 01.2024
  • Took over IMRL program and LPO as soon as I checked on board. USS IWO JIMA had over 400 missing IMRL items at that time. Before I checked out, I was able to train the divisions on how to properly maintain there Gear to include correctly using their LAMS and METCAL Report. By the time I transferred there were only 18 missing items.
  • Prepared battery locker for inspection by ensuring compliance within one week.

I-Level Avionics Technician / Assistant IMRL Manager/ 62A/B/C LPO

FRC OCEANA
09.2020 - 08.2023
  • First two years I was WCS of 62A/B/C. I helped rebuild the battery locker program and assisted with the Command ICRL program.
  • I had both my Hip Surgeries while in these shops. After my surgeries I went to work for IMRL. While there I worked with NAVAIR to list and track all of the deficits and excess gear which resulted in our readiness to go from 85 % to 93 %.

62A/B LPO / 3MDC WCS / SECURITY 3MDC WCS

USS ABRHAM LINCOLN (CVN 72)
02.2016 - 09.2020
  • First 17 months onboard I was TAD to Security where I was tasked with building and running Security’s 3MDC program due to them splitting from Operations.
  • My team and I were also tasked with rehabbing all 28 security spaces towards the end of the Yard Period because no jobs were put in when the ship first went to the yards.
  • Once returning to AIMD I was tasking with helping install five TD’s on the Generator Bench (62E) and I was put LPO of 62A/B work center and IM03 3M WCS. And that’s where I stayed until I transferred.
  • 1 NAM FROM AIMD
  • 1 NAM FROM SECURITY

AE2

FRC Norfolk
11.2012 - 01.2016
  • Managed 21 Q-24 assets and supervised 17 personnel in the completion of 356 maintenance actions, providing a 95% ready-for-issue rate of the AN/AQS24A weapon system in support of HM-15 and its sister squadron, HM-14.
  • Once I checked into 74C I recognized that a lot of the Mother Gear was missing WRA’s. I realized that the squadrons were pulling parts to send to Bahrain and Korea with out any documentation. I reached out to the Program Manager in Panama City FL to develop a plan to rectify the problem.
  • Our fix was for FRCMA to add 146 items to our ICRL so that if the squadron needed something we could properly cut MAFS on the I level side to track the parts.
  • Attended 3 MCM conferences in Orlando, FL on behalf of FRCMA DET Norfolk.
  • While in 74C I also obtained 62A/B/C OJT to maintain current qualifications.

  • My last year I was TAD to ER09 as a Work Center Supervisor, however I was still in charge of running AIMD’s Battery locker program and received 0 hits during Aviation Maintenance Inspection.
