Summary

I'm experienced and qualified to meet all qualifications and job requirements in a safe and productive manner. Accomplished Non Nuclear/Nuclear Ship Fitter with over Seven years experience with overhauling and new construction of Carriers and Submarines. My knowledge of trade tools along with having a problem solving mindset gives me the will and determination to complete the task given. My ability to layout and fabricate metal to fit structures or erect bulkheads has been gathered through hands-on interactions. I've acquired the ability to read blueprints, TGI's, WAF's and required documents needed to begin work associated with hot work, gas free, safe for entry, tank watch and fire watch tickets. As a member of your company I plan to use the necessary skills I have gained in my military career to help me work with and not against anyone. I will be on time and do my job with consistency. It would be a pleasure to become a member of this company as I plan to work my way up through the ranks. I have been a combination Ship Fitter/Welder now for Seven years and I'm still aware of the knowledge to gain. I've worked at Huntington Ingalls, BAE, MHI as well as Norfolk Naval Shipyard throughout my career in the Maritime trade. Analyzes jobs from start to finish ensuring proper and safe work methods used. As I stated before, my ability to read and interpret work specifications, blue prints, technical manuals and design sketches to determine the appropriate shipfitting process to be successful.
